Pension Elan - Bayerisch Eisenstein

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The room I stayed in had a stunning view of the mountains from the balcony, which was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The powerful shower was a great way to refresh after a day of exploring the local area. The breakfast was delicious, with a range of homemade dishes that really showcased the attention to detail and quality ingredients.

No aspects to improve. Everything was perfect.

The location was beautiful, with amazing views and easy access to a variety of outdoor activities. the breakfast provided was far from the normal B&B fare and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, facilities, location, and the friendly staff.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access to skiing, activities, and beautiful outdoor areas. the rooms are bright, modern, and clean, with comfortable beds and powerful showers. the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, and omelettes. the friendly staff is always ready to answer questions and provide helpful hints about how to spend your time. the hotel offers convenient amenities such as parking and reliable WiFi.

Some other aspects of the hotel could be improved upon.

Great location in the forest & near hiking trails. Amazing food options, especially the pork and squid ink risotto. Clean and comfortable rooms with a balcony and a view.

Some rooms were outdated, though they may be scheduled for renovation. Limited options for activities beyond hiking.

The hotel's owner, John, was incredibly friendly and spoke fluent German and English, making communication effortless. He went above and beyond to accommodate our group of young people, allowing us to use the comfortable community room and sauna late into the night. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful outside area in the backyard with a fireplace, creating the perfect atmosphere for late-night conversations. The hotel was impeccably clean, with a friendly and uncomplicated atmosphere. It was definitely one of the best stays we've ever had, and we travel a lot.

The hotel's rooms were fairly dated, but renovations are scheduled soon.
